Design Researcher

About

I'm a design researcher with seven years of design and research experience spanning across industry and academia. Iā€™m currently relocating to the UK after wrapping up my PhD as part of the Materialising Memories research programme, where I investigated how designers can create products with personal meaning for their users.

With a background in Industrial Design, I started out interning at Vert Design and went on to work as a designer at point-of-sale design consultancy Pop This for four years. During this time I worked with a range of global retail brands including Revlon, Unilever, Energizer and Nude by Nature.

As a side passion, I have taught design at the University of Technology Sydney for the past five years in courses related to emotional design, design research, user-centred design, interaction design and sustainability.

My creative approach is to focus deeply on the individual to create design solutions that resonate with our shared humanity.
